Three words: Book Venue 1848!

Last week, we had the honor of photographing a styled wedding at Venue 1848 – Appomattox’s newest gem. You may recognize the name “Appomattox” as the location of the surrender grounds from the Civil War, and now this quaint iconic town has given you one more reason to visit.

Venue 1848 used to be an old general store in the heart of Appomattox, and the amount of character and elegance it shows off now is just incredible. Owners Nancy and Don have the sweetest hearts and such an amazing vision for this space – you are going to fall in love with both this genuine couple as well as the white walls, garden style courtyard, and all the other amazing features that you will just have to visit to see!

While this unique and stunning space is beautiful just as it is with it’s original tiled ceiling and hardwood floors, it also offers a clean canvas of potential for the design and vision of your event! Venue 1848 holds family gatherings, corporate meetings, bridal showers, baby showers, and now – intimate WEDDINGS!
