Words can’t express how excited I am to share this wedding with you! PJ and I have been anticipating Jon and Emily’s wedding for what seems like forever, and the day finally came with lots of love and some intense heat too. The happy couple’s boho wedding at Old Mill Farm was beyond amazing. While it would make sense for me to go on and on about how the color palette, flowers, rose gold details, horse drawn getaway carriage, pastel sunset, the bride’s dress (but for real, how stunning is that Ashley Grace Bridal dress?! Emily had The Gilded Thimble custom add the sleeves – we are in love!), and the awesome vendors we worked with, I really just want to leave you with this.
May 26th was a hot one. So much so that the ceremony was moved to the reception space and certain elements of the day had to be adjusted on the fly. But that didn’t matter to Jon and Emily. In fact, it didn’t phase them one bit. Since the moment they laid eyes on each other as counselors at a summer camp, they had waited for this day. Together doing youth ministry side by side through college, growing, seeking the Lord – they had anticipated this day for years and it was finally here. So while it was a hot spring day, and while all the boho wedding details were stunning, Jonathan and Emily were only focused on becoming husband and wife. Finally one. Finally beginning their covenant journey.
Jon and Emily, PJ and I could not be more thrilled for you guys! Marriage truly is awesome, and it was an absolute honor to celebrate your marriage with you!
