I still can’t believe I’m writing this blog post. Our whirlwind trip to France four weeks ago to shoot this intimate French countryside wedding left such a big impact on our hearts and lives.

We can’t tell you how humbled we were that JC and Emily trusted us to capture their marriage covenant. Including us and the couple, there were 14 people in attendance, and the day could not have been more intimate and special. There was a deep reverence for God and marriage, and an immense joy and lightheartedness permeated this wedding. PJ and I kept looking at each other and thinking, “Wow, what an honor to be here.” Needless to say, we are never getting over this wedding, the setting (forever in love with France now), and the incredible couple and their families that adopted us into their family that weekend. Though chilly temperatures, rain showers, and gusts of wind caused us all to last minute move the ceremony indoors, it ultimately made everyone come together even more, and the rain passed just in time for photos out in the beautiful French countryside.

JC and Emily, we could not be more excited for you guys! Marriage is so wonderful, and we are honored to have played a small part in your wedding day. You guys make such a great team, and we know God will work mightily in your marriage for His kingdom! And thanks to you guys, intimate destination weddings are now our absolute favorite to shoot!
