We had been anticipating Alex and Kayla’s autumn Burlington wedding for over a year and a half, and as they exchanged vows, I found myself choked up. Not because the day was finally here, not because of the beautiful wedding venue or autumn florals, and not even because of their amazing family and friends there to support them. I fought back tears because Alex and Kayla’s love for God and desire to honor Him was SO evident, and this pours into how they love each other and those around them.

Pure beauty.

The wedding day was full of rain and humidity, but Kayla handled some last minute changes with so much grace. I’ll never forget her telling me, “I’ve only been a wife for an hour, but I love it already.”

Marriage really is awesome. And how cool are their wedding band tattoos? You’ll have to scroll to see them for yourself – such a great idea!
