Dexter + Stephanie | Elopement Wedding at Venue 1848 | Appomattox, Virginia

April 8, 2020

Last month, Dexter and Stephanie were faced with the hard call to forego their spring wedding plans due to COVID-19. So before things got worse in March, they opted to have an intimate elopement wedding at Venue 1848.

Within just a few short days of the decision, they re-imagined their plans, pulled everything together, trusted God, and were husband and wife! Despite the less than ideal circumstances, Dexter and Stephanie were giddy to be getting married, and we are so thrilled for them! I am forever grateful that PJ was available to be there to photograph their wedding (yes, this whole elopement was photographed by PJ!).

From Stephanie, in Hill City Bride’s feature of their wedding: “Through this season, God remained faithful, God’s love remained the same…a marriage displays that kind of love, that love that comes with the commitment Dexter & I made to each other.”

What a beautiful testimony!

Note: brides and grooms looking to elope or reschedule your wedding due to COVID-19: please please please reach out to Venue 1848! The owners are the sweetest couple ever, and their space is absolutely delightful!
